So this past week has been crazy, but good. Our mock lessons are going good, so far all but 1 has committed to Baptism, and that 1 is getting close. The spirit is strong, and last night was the 50th, anniversary of the MTC, so they had a awesome fireside, and rededicated buildings. They said we are part of history! Jeffery R Holland, and Russell M Nelson both spoke; it was epic! We sang Behold a Royal army after the 10 minute prayer, it was really good. The have some parts of it at LDS.org, but a funny part was that they said with 77% reporting Mitt Romney 47%, and Newt G, 32%. They then said whether this news makes you happy or sad, please keep it to yourself.
I am soooo happy to get out of the MTC! I love *most* of the people in my district. Elder Streeter has been really nice. They wanted to eat at the Temple. I did not want to buy food, but I said I will go so everyone could (Our Branch President said that if ONE person did not want to go, then the District should not go). While I was waiting there Elder Streeter said, “You came for us, I will pay for you.” It was really nice, of him.
I am hearing stories about NH Manchester mission that is cool/scary as someone that got back in Aug, said he taught 82 lessons in a week. Wow, that’s kinda crazy, but good.
Things are crazy, but good. Going to the Temple, and Temple walks are highlights of the week, but overall time is flying. I would love to write more of you personally, but I don't really have the time. By the way, I won't get any Dear Elder if you send them after Fri, so if you want to write me after Friday, please send it by mail to my mission office, and they will get them to me. The office address is:
2 Bedford Farms Drive STE 208
Bedford NH, 03110
Again things are good. Lessons are crazy, but the gospel is true. Things are getting better. I fly out on Monday morning, and there is a chance that I can call home, that will be nice.
Elder Jeremy Goff
