Cut Cap and Balance Pledge, a way to fix America.

I pledge to urge my Senators and Member of the House of Representatives to oppose any debt limit increase unless all three of the following conditions have been met:

1. Cut
 - Substantial cuts in spending that will reduce the deficit next year and thereafter.

1. Cap
 - Enforceable spending caps that will put federal spending on a path to a balanced budget.

1. Balance
 - Congressional passage of a Balanced Budget Amendment to the U.S. Constitution -- but only if it includes both a spending limitation and a super-majority for raising taxes, in addition to balancing revenues and expenses

So far 12 Senators, 26 house members, and all but Huntsman and Bachmann who are seeking the GOP nomination have signed this.

And the just added a new list that (was my idea), the list that was added today, Governors (so far 0 on the page due to new within last 6 hours)

A quick explanation about how my idea was added, I was at the Rocky Mountain BBQ, in Heber City (more on that later), and US Senator Mike Lee was there, and I talked with him, and suggested that they need to add a Governors list, because if your going to pass a BBA (balanced budget amendment) you will need the states to ratify it, he said, that's a great idea, we will see if we can do that (we being Jim DeMint)
