Liberal VS Conservative

Someone asked me, if you had a Liberal and a Conservative town, give each the same amount of resources, who would do best, so each town has 1000 people each, these are not in the USA, but in the middle of some far off land.


Liberal Week 1: Build Courthouse, hospital, school, homeless shelter, and food kitchen, and Take everything from everyone, give everyone the same amount of things.

Conservative Week 1: Build houses, church/school/town hall, and start plowing the land, cutting down trees, and starting business, thank God, for the land that has been given them.

Liberal Week 2: Vote, turn into a Communism, Establish free health care, gun control, free education, start up a police force, to "keep the peace" TAKE MORE Money from those who earn it, and take all money again and give to everyone same amount, 10% of the people think hey why do I need to work, we all get the same amount of stuff, so they stop.

Conservative Week 2: The Peoples Representatives, vote, and they start working on a constitution for their constitutional republic, freedom of religion, and they Establish Capitalism, as their economic system, they help the poor, and thank God for what they have, and they help the poor raise some barns, and start raising farms.

Liberal Week 3: Cap and Trade is passed, all home building with wood is stopped, all heating of homes by burning Coal/Wood is outlawed, and raising Cattle is banned, they sell their Cattle to some Conservatives to help pay for this, They take all the money from everyone, pay for some public works, and then give everyone same amount as everyone else, those who work hard start getting mad 10% of the people sneak out of the town to visit their Conservative friends.

Conservative Week 3: Praise God, for what they have, finish building a sawmill, and continue work on a constitution, they help the poor, and they start to teach them how to work, and hire them to help cut down trees, and cut them into logs, so they can build their own homes, the Dairy farmers, are starting to make a lot of Cheese, and Milk, the Liberal town starts buying it.

Liberal Week 4: They are importing Cheese, and Milk, from the Conservative now city, life is good, everyone is happy, But to Preserve the environment, they take all the money from everyone, and put embargoes on anything making Co2, no more Cheese, or Milk, thy also build themselves a Statue of their great leader, they have a shortage of houses still, so they spend more money, to build more homeless shelters for those who don't have a home, they also notice they are hunger they start a soup kitchen, they then give all money back to everyone, making sure they all have the same amount, the 10% working the hardest, is mad their money is being wasted, the leave for the Conservative City now, unemployment is up to 20% because why work when you don't get anything ?

Conservative Week 4: Start realizing they need for water transportation, for their booming Cheese and Milk industry to export, a group of people start digging a canal, so they can travel faster, they start buying sheep, and hire a sheriff to keep the peace, he hires some deputy's, they start work on a public courthouse, in comes the townspeople from the Liberal town, the Conservative townspeople welcome them into their homes, and hold a barn and house raising for their new friends, they have food, and fun.

Liberal week 5: They start to Unionize, people only have to work 3 days a week, only 5 hours a day, and get every 5th week off, People have stopped working, business is shutting down, they are not longer producing anything, people are mad, and start to protest, people are still leaving, to stop this, they build a wall around their town, for protection, and don't let anyone in or out, they don't have fresh food, because there is no reason to work, why work for what you can't keep, this wall is built by taking money from everyone, and then giving back to everyone same amount. 5% more of people escape, 1% is killed trying to escape, and employment is now at 34% government employment is at 40% with 16% of their people gone.

Conservative Week 5: The privet group of people building the canal finish, the City holds a party, as they can now move their goods down the river, they start exporting goods, and importing fine goods, the poor now all have homes, they helped build, and now are learning a trade, so they can feed their families, more from the liberal town show up, they ask if they want help building their home, they say NO.

Liberal week 6: The wall is built, around the town, yet people keep trying to escape, 5% more get free, with 7% died trying, there is talk of the fine goods of the Conservative city has, and how they have good food, and a warm home, in the liberal town production is at an all time low, unemployment has dropped to 20% the government has employed now 50% they are busy building the wall, and giving out the free healthcare, which has now all but died out, as no one is willing to go to school to learn to be a doctor, winter is coming, and the town is now walled in, and has no means to heat their homes, but the Politicians have an Idea, they sent 1 to each home, to heat it will all their hot air. Riots start braking out, demanding their food, and cars, and warm homes, which have been promised, 3% of their people are taken and put in jail, with a warm bed, and 3 hot meals a day.

Conservative week 6: The new poor from the liberal are starting to protest that they do not get free food, or healthcare, or welfare, they demand it, and claim it is a human right! They also demand they ban guns, and remove God from their lives, The Conservative townspeople say, you must work for your survival, and we will not ban guns, or remove God, we will help get you started, but you will not be free loaders, But they refuse, they have been so use to not working, they protest to government to take the money from every, and force the evil rich to help the poor. They refuse, they say if the poor refuse to work, they will not get welfare from the government, BUT if they so wish, a group of Business men, have provided the money to take them all back to liberal town, they take up the offer.

Liberal week 7: The liberals welcome the new workers back, the bread lines, are miles long, for only 10 loafs of bread, they see the Conservative town's canal, is working great, so they put all the unemployed to work, building their own version, there is no food, and people start to riot, all hell is starting to brake loose.

Conservative week 7: The cheese, and milk markets, and the trade has brought an increase to wealth, some people want to build a new road from the city, to another major city, some farmers, now want to buy some sheep, and the Canal group owners want to build another canal, a Group of Business men, start a bank, and start loaning money to these people, a new road starts being built, and a Canal, and many farmers now have many sheep, the Town hall/Church/School wishes to have bell, they have a city wide Bake off, with all proceeds going to the bell fund, and extras to the help the poor farmers with loans.

Liberal week 8: The people are now all uneasy, the canal is done, but with nothing to trade, it is useless, and riots start braking out, the liberal town is not making anything, the government now employs over 60% of the people, they need more money, they send a group to get some, they go to the Conservative town, they find the bank, they ask the bank to give them the money free, the bank refuses, but says they will let them barrow it, but them need to have something to back it with, so they go to the group of men building the Canal, and road, and say we need some proof we can pay the bank, can we send people from the liberal town to work on the road, and canal, and you vouch for us ? they agree, the town sends 20% of its people to work on the road, and canal, they work for 5 hours, they start to complain, this is to hard, and they refuse to work, and go home, the town has already spent the money, and everyone has nice food, and the mock the Conservatives, for having to work, they eat like kings!

Conservative week 8: The road is almost finished, and the new canal, is almost done, the farmers, that got a loan from the bank, to buy some sheep, have started to pay it back, with the new wool industry booming, they offer a job to any poor left in the town, which there is very few of, they finish building the Canal, and road, the canal company, now barrows more money, to start building river boats, and pay back their loans, more trading is happening, they start up an ashery, they eat well.

Liberal week 9: money is gone, food is gone, people are rioting, and nothing is getting done, crimes happening left and right, nothing can be done, they are headed to a bloody revolt.

Conservative week 9: The local Blacksmith expands his shop, via a loan from the banks, a group of farmers have set up inns, along the road, and now set up a post service, the local school, in the church, hires another teacher, their kids go to school for 8 hours a day during the winter, and most don't go during the summer, a fire brakes out, at the saw mill, it burns to the ground, the towns people, help him rebuild it, there are problems, many problems, but they get settled easily.

Liberal week 10: It is cold, there is no warm houses, because they can't burn fuel to keep warm, the masses brake out into a revolt, the Leadership has been taken by the masses, and are executed in he public square, the news spreads, they are to begin anew, they stat to tar down the wall, and they notice on the other side, is the Conservatives, helping to tar down the wall, the Conservatives help the towns people build new homes, and they start to have food again.

Conservative week 10: they hold a party with their liberal friends, they start to help them rebuild, in the Conservative town they go on with life as normal, and you work for you food, you work for your house, you work for your pay, life is enjoyable.




In the end, we learn that the liberals fail because. 1st, people will not work for what they can't keep. 2nd, if the government does not give it, it does not mean the privet sector won't provide. 3rd, If you have 2 places, one with Socialism, and the other with Capitalism, those in the Socialism system, will flee the Socialist run system, for the Capitalism, because in the, Socialism there is no chance, no hope, no change, your kids can't have a better life, no matter how much you work, whereas with a Capitalist system, if you work harder, your kids can have a better life. 4th, Liberal lack of logic, people claim people are so evil, they won't help the poor, YET they are so good they will GIVE EVERYTHING away? 5th, in the Capitalist system, people take care of others, they won't pamper the lazy so they don't have to work, but they know, a happy worker is a better worker.
